The Generalist Pathway seeks out the most passionate and dedicated medical students from Queensland and across Australia to train them as rural generalists. The Generalist Pathway is designed to provide trainees with opportunities for a diverse and purposeful career.

Rural generalists need a broad skill set, which means that The Generalist Pathway provides exceptional foundation training for almost any medical career path, including specialties outside of rural generalism. The Generalist Pathway expands your options, opening the door to better career opportunities.

Step Change was tasked to re-name and re-brand the Generalist Pathway working along side restricted Queensland Government Guidelines to ensure communication remained professional and consistent at all communication touch points.

The result, was 150% increase in first year medical student enrolment into the pathway, positive brand influence and high brand awareness among the industry and graduating students.
